HR-Tech Startup Autogram is here to Revolutionize Human Resource Processes



Kolkata-Based startup, Autogram is redefining HR processes by doing away with paper CVs and giving candidates an opportunity to apply to jobs on their portal by creating an Audio-Visual resume via their smartphone!



Started in 2017 by Ajay Sharma (IIM, Ahmedabad) and Aditya Barelia (IIT, Kharagpur), Autogram is all set to redefine recruitment processes for candidates and companies alike. It offers a wide range of value proposition for candidates and employers in using the application; and achieving the ultimate objective of Human Resource Management - matching the right person to the right job. 
There are various facets of Autogram which can be directly accessed from the application, most important being - creating an audio-visual (AV) resume. It includes entering basic details that one normally includes in their CVs and going a step beyond that by recording an introduction video for about 1-2 minutes. This allows the candidate to showcase his or her communication skills alongside any interesting factors that can help them stand out in the eyes of the recruiters. Once this audio-visual resume is created, candidates can now apply to the jobs available in the app itself. 
While job hunting, candidates can also practice mock interviews to prepare themselves for upcoming interviews. They can schedule interviews through the app and also check the status. Basically, the app aims to solve all the basic issues faced by a job seeker. 
When looking at it from an employer's point of view, Autogram plans to do away with companies going to different colleges for campus placements. Autogram has approached companies to give them the requirement and takes responsibility to source the most relevant candidates along with their complete Autogram profile. This way the organisation saves costs and still manages to get the right resource for their vacancies. 
Within 3 months of launch, the startup has already managed to partner with more than 10 organisations, partnered with 200+ colleges, having received 2200+ Autogram profiles and helped in the placement of 50+ students. By creating value to the major stakeholders in the recruitment game, the idea is to become the ultimate destination for any HR - related requirements.
